BUILDING DESCRIPTION
The Monadnock Building is a ten story office building with a ground level courtyard, basement, and 190,365 rentable square feet. It was built in 1906 and substantially renovated in 1986.
Ground floor retail tenants include a café, a toy store, a Lenscrafters and a wireless phone store. The suites throughout the building are occupied by a variety of professions, including businesses in the fields of law, cosmetics, travel, art, and internet technology.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION
The Monadnock Building is located at 685 Market Street, adjacent to the Hearst Building and the Palace Hotel and between Third Street and New Montgomery on the south of Market side, and the intersections of Geary and Kearny and Post and Montgomery.
Our tenants enjoy a unique position on the south side of Market Street in downtown San Francisco at the confluence of the traditional Financial District, the world famous Union Square shopping district and the Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Convention Center.
The building is in close proximity to the Montgomery BART station on Market Street, MUNI lines on Market Street and the Geary Corridor, as well as several parking structures.

HOURS
The Monadnock building is open during normal business hours of 7AM to 9PM. After hours access is granted by a security officer who is on duty 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday.
